It will be a model that faithfully reproduces the "Toms GR Supra 2020" designed by TOM'S, which is known as Toyota's official tuner.
We have developed various variations of the GR Supra on January 1 and January 43, but as a 1/18 based on specifications modified by a third party instead of normal, we will release TOM'S GR SUPRA as the second model after the TRD 1GT.
Like our other GR Supra models, this model first designs a normal body based on the 3D scan data of the actual vehicle conducted in-house and the 3D data of the actual vehicle provided by Toyota Motor Corporation, and then draws the modeling data of TOM'S original body parts on it as if it were a real vehicle. By sharing the basic data of the normal body, there is a sense of unity when placed side by side with our other GR Supra models, and the difference is clear.
The TOM'S Supra features diffusers on the front, rear, left and right, raised blister-shaped rear fenders, large wings, and deeply carved ducts for the front fenders. Of course, we faithfully reproduce these shapes to the actual vehicle, but we are also particular about expressing their thinness and sharpness that cuts through the air.
Decals are applied to express the carbon part, but it can be said that it is our unique commitment to firmly overcoat with uretan rear on top of it to not only apply decals but also to produce a uniform feeling of surface and avoid changes in texture due to aging.
This time, we have prepared the semi-glossy metallic legend green body color that was worn when the TOM'S Supra was launched at the 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon. When painting the model, the semi-glossy body color tends to be whitish and blurry, but the mixture of paints has been devised to create a transparent legend green finish, so please check the actual product. Tightening its beautiful body color, the sharp lime green stripes on the body and wheel rims make it one of the details worth seeing.
