This time, the motif is the TOM'S GR Supra as it appeared at the 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon, where it was unveiled. In order to model the car, we conducted our own 3D scanning and combined it with 3D data provided by Toyota Motor Corporation to design a body that is accurate to the real car, and then added 3D data of TOM'S original parts to achieve the best proportions.
The complex front, rear, and side diffusers are thin and sharp as if to challenge the limits of 1/43 scale, and all surfaces are covered with carbon pattern decals and urethane clear coating for a mirror finish. Note the thinness of the air inlet and outlet openings throughout the body and the "goodness" of the airflow.
The wheels are a combination of machined aluminum rims and white metal center discs and spokes for a high resolution look. The rear wing is made of white metal, which is not only thin but also resistant to aging.
The matted but highly luminous Legend Green color tone, which is very difficult to reproduce for a 1/43 model, and the clean feeling of the yellow stripes everywhere make this a car that you will want to check out for the beauty of the finish.
