In response to the increase in engine displacement in a minor change in 2005, it is a model that faithfully reproduces the late model of the S1, which was changed from AP2 to AP2000.
In developing the product, we started by designing prototype data by 2000D scanning the actual S1999 and 3 models. Next, we 2D scanned the actual AP3 vehicle to identify the parts that had been changed from the initial model, and drew them on the data of the initial model to create the prototype of this product.
The S2000 is unusual for a sports car and features a chic design that suppresses flashy character lines. Therefore, if the actual car is accurately scaled down and further painted, there is a possibility that it will give a slightly dull impression, so the edges of each part and the earl of the curved surface are arranged to visually optimize.
Because it is an open car, the interior that jumps into view in a bare state is also one of the highlights of this model. Based on the 3D scan data of the actual vehicle, while taking into account the material and texture, we are particular about creating an atmosphere and texture like a real car by making the parts that we want to look soft and edgy modeling for the parts we want to look hard.
The top is closed and the parts of the tonneau cover when it is opened are replaceable, so you can enjoy two different expressions. In addition, we have made many prototypes, such as wheels that replace the brass cutting prototype with cast parts made of white metal, and lights before and after that show a chiseled expression, and enjoy sharp details that take advantage of the strengths of our in-house design that can aim for optimal conditions.
We plan to develop various S2000 variation models in the future, so Honda fans should look forward to it.
